Prompting an outline

Ah to be independently wealthy and do nothing but crafts and read all day. I'm still working on writing. I used to be really good at it but apparently majoring in English then having crappy writing professors will just burn the creativity out of you.
Right now i'm working on outlining. It's a process I used to hate because teachers presented it in such a boring an stilted manner. I used to feel like outlines made a story boring, but lately they've really helped me flesh out my ideas.
I want to write something soon that's has several chapters and I'm just stuck in this hole asking myself what I want to write. Like yes I want to write my ship(s) but what I want my story to be about escapes me.
I suppose I'm just not inspired at the moment.
I'm going to try out some prompts and see where I get.
